Artist's Comments

Influenced by Placebo and a song called Haemoglobin. I've grown out of the music, but I still have a soft spot for this painting.. mainly because there was no thought involved.. I just started painting.. I don't often manage to do that.

This is brilliant!

Some of the most psychadelic art I've seen in a while, it's amazing. he contrasting colours are perfect, and it's just a big jumble of thoughtness and oddness.

I seriously love it. Favouriting.

shit - a lot of my art has absolutely no meaning - don't have to have a meaning - this to me appealed because of the black, white and red used

Art is what you make of it

Yes I know you're right, just back at school they tried to convince me that all art had meaning, even a line of paint splattered onto a canvas. I could never understand that, surely some artists out there must paint random things and think nothing more than "oh that looks rather cool".

"surely some artists out there must paint random things and think nothing more than "oh that looks rather cool"."

yeah - they're called anime artists XD

no, but seriously - if i try to apply meaning to my stuff i end up with a pile of shite!

i don't need meanings as long as it looks beautiful. and i really consider this one as beautiful - you have incredibly good drawing/painting skills! i love everything, the different things you painted, the colors, the idea..
